EMPLOYMENT OUTLOOK: 

Employment is expected to grow faster than average. The number of jobs is expected to increase from 126,000 in 2020 to 145,000 in 2025. This increase responds to growing demand from an increasingly middle-aged and elderly population. Older people are more likely to suffer from cardiopulmonary diseases like pneumonia, bronchitis , emphysema, and heart condition.

NATURE OF WORK: 

Respiratory therapists treat all kinds of patients, from infants with lung problems to elderly people affected by lung disease. they supply temporary rehef to patients with chronic asthma or emphysema and emergency look after coronary failure , stroke, drowning, or shock victims. They most ordinarily use oxygen or oxygen mixtures, chest physiotherapy, and aerosol medications. WORKING CONDITIONS:

EDUCATION, TRAINING, QUALIFICATIONS:
