The doctor will then be able to give you the okay to start an exercise problem. You should get your sugar levels, circulation and heart checked out. Ask your doctor about advice on a sensible way to lose weight.

  • Make a commitment with yourself to stick to a healthy eating plan and regular exercise program. These two elements will help you lose weight over the long term and keep it off permanently. Commit to eating nutritious meals every three hours. Keep the promise with yourself to get some physical activity every day. The commitment with yourself will help you once you start your long term diet.

  • Collect information about healthy eating and exercise programs. The more information and ideas you have the easier it’s going to be to keep your diet interesting. When you get bored you can try new and healthy recipes as well as change up your workouts to avoid monotony. Read health magazines and dieting success stories to keep you motivated on your own weight loss journey. The better informed you are before you start your long term diet the better your lifestyle choices will be when you actually start your long term diet.
